New establishments will soon operate at City di Mare (CDM) in South Road Properties (SRP)
within the site of the joint venture of the Cebu City Government with Filinvest.
City di Mare (CDM) in South Road Properties (SRP) is set to welcome several new establishments, marking another significant milestone for the joint venture between the Cebu City Government and Filinvest. Acting Cebu City Mayor Raymond Alvin N. Garcia recently greeted the new locators at the CDM Visitors Center, underscoring the transformative period this partnership brings to SRP.
New businesses include popular chains like Jollibee, Chowking, and Bo’s Coffee, which will open standalone stores with drive-thru services, as well as a Caltex gasoline station, a golf driving range, and soccer fields managed by the TGR Football Academy. “Your presence will stimulate further growth and enhance the local economy,” Garcia said, expressing his gratitude to the new locators for investing in what was once uncharted territory.
Garcia likened this influx of investment to the early days of SRP’s development in 2008, when the area was still largely undeveloped. He assured the new businesses that the local government is committed to supporting their growth in a business-friendly environment.
Don-Don Ubaldo, first vice president of Filinvest Township, echoed Garcia’s enthusiasm, highlighting how these new establishments would elevate the quality of life in CDM and enhance its live-work-play dynamic. “We are thrilled to welcome our new locators who have chosen to ride this wave of growth and become part of the New Cebu City,” Ubaldo said.

He emphasized that the new businesses, including TGR Football Academy and the Future Golf Driving Range, will cater to CDM’s growing fitness and sports community. Ubaldo expressed confidence that CDM is on track for accelerated growth, with more locators expected to follow suit.
CDM is becoming a prime destination, not only because of its new establishments but also due to its strategic location. It enjoys high traffic along Cebu South Coastal Road (CSCR) and easy access to the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), linking the cities of Cebu, Mandaue, Talisay, Lapu-Lapu, and Cordova. With residential clusters like Amalfi and Sanremo, and recreational spots such as the IL Corso Lifestyle Mall, CDM continues to solidify its status as a thriving, all-in-one community.
As these new locators settle in, CDM is poised to become an even more vibrant hub for both businesses and residents, offering convenience, recreation, and a better quality of life in the heart of SRP.
