Converge FiberX Student League Brings Digital Dreams to Cebu

For many young Filipinos, gaming, content creation, podcasting, and streaming are more than just hobbies—they could be the start of a future career.
Recognizing the growing potential of young digital talents outside Metro Manila, Converge is bringing opportunities closer to students through the Converge FiberX Student League Ambassador Program Season 2.
As part of the campaign, the LimitlessXPRESS truck made its first Cebu stop on August 10 at Southwestern University PHINMA, bringing interactive gaming, digital experiences, and creative activities directly to students.
LimitlessXPRESS Takes Over Cebu

The mobile digital experience traveled through some of Cebu City’s well-known streets and destinations, including Urgello Street, Osmeña Boulevard, Fuente Osmeña Circle, and Carbon Market.
It also passed through Cebu’s major business and technology hubs, including Cebu Business Park and Cebu IT Park, while bringing the campaign closer to students from the University of the Visayas, University of San Carlos, and University of the Philippines Cebu.
The goal was simple: bring the digital experience to young people instead of making them travel elsewhere to find opportunities.
A Digital Playground for Students

Inside the LimitlessXPRESS truck, students were treated to a high-tech experience where they could explore their interests in gaming and digital content.
Aspiring esports players competed in 1v1 gaming battles, while students interested in podcasting, music, and content creation got to try a professional live audio setup.
Students could also register through Converge’s digital platform, earn rewards, and begin their journey toward becoming a FiberX Student League Ambassador.
Beyond the activities, the truck carried a bigger message—young talents in the regions deserve opportunities to develop their skills and pursue their digital dreams.
“When students step inside the truck, we want them to feel that their dreams are valid and fully supported,” said Sandra Tubale-Dingal, AVP and Head of Consumer Segment Marketing of Converge.
She said the initiative was designed to inspire students to “find their X” while bringing the Converge brand closer to the youth.
Converge Brings the Campaign to VisMin

According to JP Aguilar, SVP and Consumer Business Group Head of Converge, the company’s move into Visayas and Mindanao goes beyond business expansion.
He described the initiative as a direct investment in nation-building by giving young people opportunities to explore and develop their potential and become the digital leaders of tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Orange Ramirez, VP and Brand & Marketing Head of Converge, said the LimitlessXPRESS truck was created to make opportunities more accessible.
“We know these students are looking for their big break, so instead of waiting for them to find us, we decided to roll up and make it accessible to them,” Ramirez said.
The LimitlessXPRESS Journey Continues

The Cebu visit is only the beginning for the Converge FiberX Student League Ambassador Program Season 2.
The LimitlessXPRESS truck will continue its campus tour across Cebu before heading to Mindanao, bringing the digital experience to more young Filipinos in the region.
For Cebu and the wider VisMin youth community, the campaign offers a chance to explore gaming, content creation, podcasting, and other digital passions closer to home.
The message from Converge is clear: you don’t have to be in the capital to chase your digital dreams. Sometimes, the opportunity can come straight to you.
